Communications Executive and Consultant
Gloria Ricks Taylor is a consultant to the Hearst Management Institute, a higher education program for key executives, developed in conjunction with Northwestern University Media Management Center. She has held various positions with the Hearst Corporation as Chair of Corporate Communication, Vice President- Director of Public Affairs and Vice President- Director of Public Relations. Her expertise includes public relations consultancy in London, England, public relations programming for magazine associations, speechwriting and corporate spokesperson. Ms. Taylor is a writer, conference planner, and has assisted in the launching of magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar in Russia and planned professional conferences in the U.S.A. and abroad.
She is a Board Member of the Georgia Museum of Art, Athens Community Council on Aging, and Friends of Oconee Hill Cemetery.
