Do you have a heart for young people?

Are you interested in a career opportunity that uses your unique personality gifts and values to positively impact the character of your community.... and build a highly-respected business for yourself at the same time?

The nationally and internationally acclaimed children's and youth etiquette programs developed by Dorothea Johnson at the Protocol School of Washington® (PSOW) have a new home: The Etiquette & Leadership Institute (E&LI) in Athens, Georgia.

Certified consultants use these programs with proven effectiveness in all 50 states and in 17 foreign countries.

Based on universally accepted etiquette, free of provincial idiosyncrasies and regional variations, this program is up-to-date and upholds the universal traditions of good manners. The programs, originally developed in Washington, D.C. are comprised of streamlined and easy-to-learn content. They work equally well in formal and less formal environments, in urban, suburban, and rural communities.

No matter where your students go... as a guest to the school dance or to the White House... they will never have to relearn anything they learned first in your E&LI program.

The E&LI prepares you to transform the lives of young people through etiquette, dance and leadership training. Politeness and sensitivity to others are not only the building blocks of good relationships, but are also crucial ingredients of later career success. Good manners, taught by caring instructors, become the bridge that young people need to help them reach that success.

For more than twenty years, Debra Lassiter, Cindy Haygood, and April McLean have guided the growth and success of their own children's etiquette and social dance program that is northeast Georgia’s premier institution for instruction in manners, leadership, and social dance for young people between the ages of 10 and 22. They established the Etiquette & Leadership Institute in September 2005 when they acquired the Children’s Training Division of the Protocol School of Washington.

The E&LI is today’s most exciting and comprehensive training program for etiquette instructors. The dynamic E&LI curriculum reflects today’s growing emphasis on building self-confidence and character in youth who will be leaders of tomorrow.
